However, the company has not forgotten about the ‘Pro’ version of its wireless earbuds, as a new rumor is doing the rounds, stating that the AirPods Pro 3 will feature better Active Noise Cancellation than the ‘previous version,’ or, in this case, the AirPods Pro 2.

The rumor was posted by Kosutami on X, and to be fair, the AirPods Pro 3 launch is long overdue. The AirPods Pro 2 arrived two years ago, bringing in minor improvements over the first iteration, such as slightly upgraded battery life and an advanced variant of the H1 chipset. Unfortunately, the tipster did not mention any more details regarding the Active Noise Cancellation side of things. However, when asked about the AirPods Pro 3’s potential launch timeline, he simply responded ‘soon,’ meaning that we could have a surprise entrant at the September 9 event.
MacRumors has reported that Apple had already advertised its new wireless earbuds to feature up to twice as much Active Noise Cancellation as the previous version, hinting that the AirPods Pro 3 could take it to the next level. However, there are other aspects that we do not know as of yet.
