For years I had been using Apple trailers to download HD trailers.
But now they've fixed the loophole in the website. Previously all u had to was : Quote:

Yes, it's been down since the Avatar trailer came out.
Apple wanted to go exclusive with it so they blocked users using this technique. Now, there is a workaround for it, you can spoof your browser/download manager so that it goes up as Quicktime Agent, and then it can be downloaded with ease. I tried that. Then again, it's been ages since I've gone to Apple Trailers, really. It was my favorite movie trailer site, but not now - not after they've gone bonkers with blocking users, and worse yet, they have started adding watermark to their videos. Pure suckage! Yahoo! HD Trailers is my new love now. In fact, I'd advise you to go to HD-Trailers.net, and download all sorts of stuff in both 720p and 1080p, from either of Apple, Yahoo or Moviefone. In fact, the workaround I mentioned can be accessed in more detail at this site as well:HD-Trailers.net - Latest Trailers HD-Trailers.net Blog Blog Archive Apple Links Broken Again

Of course, it does.
They link to the direct Apple or Yahoo HD trailer file, which you can then download via your download manager. For Apple Trailers, like I said, you will need to spoof your browser or download manager. Yahoo and Moviefone trailers can be downloaded direct.

Dude, dude, dude, what?!
I already gave you a workaround as well as an alternate site. I still download trailers from Apple HD Trailers after spoofing the user agent of my browser. What else do you need, then? The link I posted solves all your problems provided you read it in the first place.1. Install the firefox extension, spoof your browser agent, and download. 2. Or wait for the trailer to show up on Yahoo HD or Moviefone.

I do it for NetTransport and works like a charm, but then again, Firefox is fine by me. I only download those trailers from Apple that aren't available anywhere else. I've really started to dislike their service now, like I said above, it's watermarked and what not. But there still are some exclusives and featurettes/clips that I get from there. But yeah, point of the matter is that chaning the user agent to QT is easy breezey if your download manager supports it. In Xi's NetTransport I've created a separate profile with the QT agent. Now less talk, more downloading Fookie boy! Go, go, go!
