Flashget fails to catch rapidshare file

My flashget is unable to download some rapidshare files even though it has the cookie and the login info saved with it.


like it will do : dead-space.part04.rar but not part56.rar


But of the 50-60 parts it will fail to download a few. They will have to be download thru the browser

I sometimes have problems running the file downloaded by flashget.. Like some rar files are completely downloaded still when you extract it says file corrupt. Download again and it works :S

use orbit downloader everyone... its free.. its superb, its less than 1mb on ram.. and it has no advertisement, it is very fast.. and it DIRECTLY downloads Youtube and Other videos via Grabpro for free in one click..

it will resume all downloads AUTOMATICALLY even on system restart.. it will continue to RE CONNECT for Billions of times Until the Download is complte or the SERVER FAILS..

If you are using FireFox 2.x/3.x, then I strongly recommend recommend you "Download them All! Tool" From the plug-in database of FireFox Add-ons.

It's the best thing. It has very stable download speeds, it will try to suck all the available speed, other than the browsers, which fluctuate eventually...

Give it a try, you won't regret!

ONly latest version of IDM, 5.14 or 5.15 supports "Start que on startup" if I don't set this option my IDM never follow the schedule or number of files to download at the same time. The only reason I use it is that it doesn't wipe the whole download Que in case of power outage.

which browser are you using? If you're using Firefox 3.xx I can help. You need to download the flashgot addon for that. Then when you click a rapidshare link it will give you an option to download it with flashget.

thats not the problem ...

if i have 10 rapidshare links in flashget. Only half will download as 100mb. the rest will download as 12-14k. Even though I am logged into rapidshare on both firefox and IE
