one of the best would be connecting ur line out to line in directly and using a software like musicmatch to record the audio input as an mp3

there is 'record' function in jetaudio......anysound being played in the computer is recorded.....like i converted my real player songs into mp3 by doing this..
1-press the start button in jetaudio record tab 2-now play the sound...whatever format or application 3-when the sound finished playing then press stop button in jetaudio.... 4-check out ur file.... hope that helps

Well it really depends upon the source and the way its streaming the video/audio.
In case of flash it is even possible to get the actual media file being player (wav, wma, mp3 etc.). I recently played around with myspace.com and naseeb.com to get the actual music files which they are playing in flash. and at least As mentioned above jetaudio or any other recording software can be the choice but the quality of recording would not be good. |

oh you fools -_- you CAN save flash music players music.. all with..
hazz's guide to a n00b saving streaming music 1) Get Audacity .. clicky 2) Get the LAME.DLL file listed in the link too 3) When you start the program, in the right hand corner there is a drop box, select "what you hear" 4) Now as soon as you play the song just press the record button =\ 5) After you have stopped, go to File > Export as MP3 or whatever format 6) If you wish to save as mp3, it'll prompt you to locate LAME.DLL.. just give it the path to the file.. kthnx ![]()

Excuse me
![]() This is not jetaudio i am talking about, therefore, if you had tried audacity out you would know how good or bad the quality of the recording would be. Quote:

Whatever the software may be it will 'record' the stream and definitly the quality will loose 'upto any extenet'. I have mentioned that above, recording is the most convenient option if one can compromise on the quality. Otherwise depending upon the situation there are ways to extract exact mp3 URLs and download those. like in case of myspace.com and naseeb ting tong! |
