Default How Nos Works

okay so nitrous oxide is chemical wid the composition NO2
that means 1 part nitrogen adn 2 part oxygen
whn NO2 is injected to ur engine it breaks up into oxygen and nitrogen
nitrogen doesnt play any part int he combustion process and just sits by and watches the show
now u have the same kinda effect as a turbo(more air forcefully pushed in) but by a chemical
i my slef have a WET type of nitrous kit
that means that i have two nozzles connected to my intake
1 throws fuel and the other NO2 whn a button is pressed
the NO2 enters the engine breaks upto oxygen and the xtra fuel also enters
spark plugs provide a spark
and u have combustion
it basically the same thing as turbo but NOS adds the xta air chemically whr as turbo adds xtra air mechanically

nitrous oxide is a bit more efficent than a trubo cause whn the turbo pushes air inside the eninge
the air is heated up considerably
while NO2 is at a very low temp in the cylinder
(i myslef found that out whn the pipe running frm the cylinder to the engine leaked,it leaked near the cylinder itslef in the trunk, whn i took the cylinder out there was ice frost all around the leak)
warm air is less dense than cold air
meaning u can fit less warm air in a given space as compared to cold air
and the rule says the more air u cramp into that engine the more HP ull make

Informative.

Btw what do you mean when you say,

"The clutch Slips"

alrite here's the simplest way i cud explain the role of a clutch in the working dynamics of the car

now as u can see the clutch plate grips the flywheel tightly whn ur in a gear
thats how power is delivered to the transmission
but whn u press the clutch pedal
the clutch plate disengages and moves away frm the flywheel
because if the wheels stop the clutch will have to stop frm revoloving also
if it doesnt move away frm the flywheel itll cause the engine to shut down
because the cltuch wont let the crank revolve thus the whole engine shuts down

honda original clutch pe power rating hoti hai
for eg a stock vti clutch can handle a certain amount of power given by the flywheel
its about 160Nm of torque i think
agar flywheel ziadha force se ghoom ker raha hoga to the clutch wont be able to grip onto it that tightly
thus it starts to slip a little
and whn the cltuch plate starts slipping ..not all the power of the engine is transferred to the transmission\wheels

in my case i was advised by my mechanic not to use NOS on this original clutch
but i cudnt refrain and i did
aur clutch slip ker gaya
now it slips all the time even under normal driving conditions
and a slipping clutch is dangerous cuz if it slips COMPLETELY i mean the clutch gives up and doesnt grip the flywheel at all then i can break sum stuff in the transmission or even damage the engine itself!!!!

Okay so if the clutch is all fine adn if u press the clutch pedel the the clutch plate will move away but the flywheel will still be rotating!and when u leave the clutch teh clutch plate would want to make contact with the already moving Flywheel!Does it manage to grip iteasily?I mean would'nt it be dificult or would'nt the clutch plate or flywheel grips get worn out after lots of use?

And what happended to ur clutch plate?i mena like did it get worn out because of too much power?Ghis gai mera matlab!

in physics it is the moment of a force or the measure of a force's tendency to produce torsion and rotation about an axis, equal to the vector product of the radius vector from the axis of rotation to the point of application of the force and the force vector.

copied from a level textbook

in plain words, torque is a turning or twisting force. it is measured in Newton meter. [Nm]. 1Nm is a force of 1 Newton [roughly 1kg under the influence of gravity] acting at a distance of 1m from a pivot

yes clutch plates r designed to handle that much force
the clutch grabs onto a MOVING flywheel issiliye no matter how smoothly u shift a gear u can always feel a slight jerk
that's whn the cltuch grabs the moving flywheel
plus to reduce the load on the clutch plate a sort of buffer is used inbetween them called the pressure plate(technical shit dont get into that)

and finally YES the clutch does eventually get worn out
no clutch lasts forever
depends on the driving style of the induvidual
usuallly clutch plates last about 1.5 lac kilometers
go ask ur dad im sure he changed tons of clutch's on his older cars

and in my case the clutch was grabbing fine on normal driving but whn i used NOS there was a huge increase in torque of the flywheel and the cltuch cudnt hold on to it
slipped, got worn out and now slips all the time!!!
