errmm...
a frend told me that honda is rolling out a new model of city.. and they have sent letters to the current booking holders that they can get the new model if they pay 35K extra.... i got my booking confirmation letter 2 weeks back.... they did not mention that.... but they DID mention that they were running on a back to back order basis.... so they cannot cancel the order, change model, color etc.... and price charged at time of delivery sheet...       so wot do i do now... me going to honda fort tomorrow..!! any1 know about this.. wot changes thye made etc.. !!! EDIT http://wccforums.com/forum/upload/sh...ed=1#post35306 imad told me that new model is coming in APril.. of City... but i think they ll prolly introduce Vtec City.. cuz the iDSI has very less torque..  completely change shayed na ho Last edited by DeVile; 26-09-04 at 07:52 PM..

You might have seen the new Corolla as well, i'm told it's coming soon or its in the showrooms at the moment but waiting to be released soon. How can honda release another new model of CITY when it's current latest model isnt in market for that long now. Must be charging 35K for only cosmetic changes. We're still awaiting for Honda to come out with the latest CIVIC in late 2005 or early 2006. Me just got a new Honda a month back.

hmmm... well the new corolla is out... dunno abt the city... well...waise they could launch a new one.. coz the sales of this model werent as expected....,looks maar khaa gayeen.. so they might have thought of changing it to earn some dough..

If i get a CITY booked tomorrow...i'll be getting this new shape plus i have to pay 35K more then the current price for it? They already took 20K over the previous price of Honda Civic which was 12,21,000 n a nice letter came just before delivery asking for the 20K for the new model.

went to Honda Fort.. yesterday....
the guy said no way.... he said.. sir abhi tak aisi news hamen officialy nahi milin... on further inquiry.. he blamed corolla... ke sir corrolla ki sales donw hain.. wo shayed naya model nikalne lage hain.. iss liye unho ne rumours phela diye hain...taake no 1 buys our cars.. every1 wud like to wait to get the new model...... hamen model ka bhi nahi pata.. apko price ka bhi pata chal gaya ke 35K ka difference hai..... bla bla bla... further: sir agar koi aisi baat hui then dont worry you will get the new model and the difference you will have to pay at the time of delivery....if honda releses new model a day before your delivery.... then u WILL get the new model... while i was having this discussion.... the mofo Muzang police forklifted ma car away.... Rs 200 No parking chalan.. i said no sign of no parking was there... otherwise i m not stupid to park there... but they saud there is a sign.. and there was a small board 2 miles away near the gate of the building.. No parking... LoLz... so the cvonfirmation costed me Rs 200.... lolz acha normally.. models change almost every 4/5 years.. and it costs the manuf millions to modify their assembly line and train their workers..... and its time for Honda and corola to both change their model.. Civic ka naya model next year... dunt know about corolla... but that too is gonna happen anytime soon... Chill now..!!!! peace..
