There are problems of interference in Wi-fi, but that thing is addressed in WiMax because it can operate at a very low frequency.

WiMax is being termed as a third generation communication network.

By looking at the work done in D.H.A, I dont see them being operational in atleast six months, but miracles do happen :-) and I think its about time that wateen do need a miracle as far as their service launch for non-corporate clients.

I've heard from a reliable source that Wateen's objective was to cover DHA only with some excellent services other than just Internet Provider. Wateen has completed the objective and I think its goodbye to rest of Lahore from Wateen.

HFC in DHA is only there because it can be integrated into DHA's security network as told by Crippler. Also WiMax will not be that economical for average users, the equipment is rare thus expensive, and the delay in its launch is understandable both for profits and prevention against potential faults.
