much different, once you need to split up the PCIe ports. With 2-way SLI or Crossfire you can link x16 on the two ports thanks to the NF200 silicon, but you'll revert to x8 PCIe lanes available in a 3-way configuration. The black PCIe slot is a x4 slot by the way. Hard to see, but all the way to the left you can also see a x1 PCie slot.
