GTA IV completes on 60%???

I was shocked to see the credits that soon in the game, When I checked the stats I had just progressed to 60%. What about rest of the 40%?
Is there any problem or this really is the case!

You also need to complete other tasks, like mini or side missions. Plus all the stunts...

You have just completed the story. You have to find the hidden packages and do small missions.

yeah complete all 50 Unique Jumps .. and kill flying rats there are 200 flying rats complete little jacob's missions by using ur cell phone .. and export brucie's tuners and do stevie car missions .. complete all the races by calling brucie .. and do all the most wanted missions and vigilinate using a cop car Unlock Little Jacob's Gun Delivery Ability (at 75%)
Unlock Brucie's Helicopter Ability (at 75%)
Unlock Packie McReary's Car Bomb Ability (at 75%)
Meet all of the 10 Random Pedestrians and complete all of their 'missions'
Complete all of the following objectives

Win a game of Pool (against anyone)
Win a game of Darts (against anyone)
Win a FULL game of Bowling (against anyone)
Beat the high score (11,000) on the QUB3D arcade game
