Default Wateen Bill 31k !!

dude i exceeded my limit in march 2008. I went upto their office in phase 5 before 30th march i gave them my id card and properly asked them to cut my services but they never came. Today i received a bill of 31,000

zabardasti ka bill i'm not using wateen since that day.

Kya scene hai ? my dads gonna kill me if he finds out

what are my options ?

Ask them to give you account details of your usage...if they do then you must pay but if they don't then you have something to fight your case!

Waisay, with this amount, you can have a 2Mbps connection from any other DSL ISP for a year...

dude...

if you had asked them to cut your services and they didnt come .. then you dont have anything to worry about.

they cant make you pay a single rupee.

its their own fault for not disconnecting your service.

Do you have any proof of 'cancellation of service request'?

If yes, then don't pay a single peny... You asked them to stop the service. It's their fault they didn't!

account detail ,whats in it ?

Hmm that makes it a bit complicated...

You know the old Pakistani Policy.. They'll just deny...

Don't pay them. They'll cancel their service, themselves. They won't take legal action against you...

Deny all charges...

The usage details will show how much did you use each month...btw, you are not the only one who have received such a hefty bill in dha... people got over 50K bill too...

Your case is weak as you have no written proof asking for disconnection. Legally even if you did ask for disconnection and they forgot about it and you continued to use their services taking advantage of that fact, then you are liable.

As advised to you by someone here, ask for detailed account (if you are sure you did not use their services).

They should have service history go for that. If they produce that than ur stuck and have to pay them legally. If u ain't paying who cares! Pakistani Style yar! :P

You said you haven't use their service, since you turned up for disconnection of service request, right? Then you have not to worry... Simply walk to their nearest office (preferably the one where you requested for the termination of connection...) and accuse them for their lack of organization... You can even do with some shouting... this will bully them fo` sho`! They'll try to please you with all possible reasons (even though they would like to kick you in the arse... but, Alas! their job is to 'please' the customer in any possible way :d). If they deny, refuse to pay the bill, and tell them that they are all gits.

A little bit of cursing might do the trick!

I'm done...

Ask for the records, and ask for the record of your application to disconnect the service, and when you have it, you are safe no matter they go in court etc.

Default Bava G scene yeah hai !!

i saw their blue strip at the bottom of my tv set ,between march 2008 that if you want to continue your services come to the nearest frachise and get registered and bla bla ..

i went their i told the lady that i don't want to continue the services ,she was shocked like ...something wrong with wateen and why are you leaving and bla bla ... i told her just because of the download cap and all and i have too much to download more then 10 gb in a month
she said ok if thats so submit your id card copy and your number and we will terminate the services and take our equipment back. I gave her all the things she asked ....

by the end of march and april i still used internet and downloaded stuff that exceeded my cap 2gb and i download around 4 gb extra in march and by the 15th of april i used a little so after 15th april i totally switched back to worldcall. now the bill came of 22k in june 3 months bill 14k of march ,7k of april and 1 k for may

after that i called up on 111365111 that you were suppose to terminate my services. They said if you have given your id card and details your services will be terminated in a few days. and now in nov i have been given a sum of 31k bill 1 k for each month.

Today i went to the business center phase 5 and told her she said you never filled the termination form so , its not in our record. Now tell me how many of you filled that form in march 08 . They never had those forms that time. She took my no. and id card back then.

Now she's saying write this to our manager in application and we will forward your application.

now what should i do ???

1. They never guided me of any form back then...they didn't even had a computer back then as far as i remember
2. should i write an application ?
3. DHA and wateen whats the connection ?? are they going to charge the defaulters in their water bills (crippler don't read this part we don't want you to guide them with this info please )
4. mera electricity bill kabhi 1 hazar sa upper nahin aya ... they made 14k out of 6gb download

lastly
BAVA JEE ! now what should i do ?

staff tu farigh hai phase 5 wala everyone's coming to return their modem back for the past 3 days what i have seen their
