Im VERY pissed off today ....
why am I super pissed off you might ask ..... because the people of Panorama Computers are CHEATS and LIARS and RIPOFFs .... These people know of no such thing as BUSINESS ETHICS . I bought a Mercury UPS for 3400 in January07 ... in about a month, it failed.. stopped giving backup ..... I returned it in warranty and was told to come back after 15 days. today I went to them and they say the warranty doesn't cover physical damage so I wont be given a replacement unit. I spent 3500 Rs and in the end i've ended up with a very heavy paper weight. Long heated discussions and raised tempers have had no effect on these people and they refuse to provide me the warranty on the defective product I was sold. By the way .. when I provided them the UPS one of their people received the UPS and it was in PRISTINE physical condition. Now they tell me the UPS was in extremely bad physical condition. THAT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. Im super pissed off and dont know what to do about this. any suggestions ?

well i dont want to say this but WHYEE THE HELL DID YOU GO THERE .. they are simply a**holes the only reason they rule in the market is cause of there product line no one can match that, otherwise such warranty issues are pretty much miss handled by them! My advice, get someone who knows them this way you would get SOMETHING out of them.

well.. you can only try to get it repaired at some local workshop..

because there wasnt any physical damage when I gave it to them. It was probably damaged in transit when they sent it to the Mercury dealer. When they handed it back to me, it had a huge dent on one side and cracks/bruises all over the body. I've made one of their people confess that when I gave them the UPS, it was not damaged. Now they tell me they'll give me a repaired (electronics only) UPS with the broken body. I told them shove it up their ass and asked for a new unit. Will be going to the shop again today after getting off work. Lets see what happens ....

well they probably couldn't fix or return to the dealer so they might have made those dent's and tehn are blaming u for the physical damage :@ they quite have a pretty bad reputation in the market aswell as my brother also got a bad 30gb ipod from them, was lucky that they exchanged it and gave him the new one they were also saying to come back after a week to get a new one coz of warrranty but we said that give us a new one at the spot as u can get the new one urself.. u should had done that too..

I ordered a 250 gb hdsk for 5 k , from deir site buybestpc.com and it stopped working after month.They refused to refund or change it coz i lost the reciept.I m never doin busienss with dem

hell boy if you have a digital reciept then it's as good, you can claim warranty via that, if not then i'm sorry to say no one would change a product without the reciept even if you buy it in person.

Well, my opinion is different. They repaired my combo drive for free, even after the warranty was void. All i can say is that i was damn lucky.

my bro bought a 2 GB ipod nano from them and afer a week it died =/ we took it to them and said replace it they said no and that repairing it woud take 10k O_O i threw the ipod on their face and said fuck off posers i told my friends abt this and no one ever goes there again =S u shud make a thread so that people arent looted by these ****holes
