damn...thats really bad. I read in news that some minister from Pakistan was ranting about a possible war over India's non-compliance with Indus water treaty. I guess its too late now anyways. What good will war do now.

India's been suffering from severe droughts these past couple of years. At least their government is doing something about it. OTOH our government and people are too busy playing schoolyard politics.
Those dams are a bigger weapon than any thermonuclear device and our military and political doctrine has failed to counter (or even realize the existence of) this threat. The fact that the Indian's can't be reasoned with doesn't help either.
