my folder options have disappeared ... and this "anti-christ" window pops up at every startup....did a full system scan with avast but to no avail...

help..

see for folder options.
Disable Folder Options Menu at Registry Guide for Windows
if its not working then pm me

and try to scan with avg 8.xx

best antivirus imo is avira. avast do fail sometime.

or keep an updated copy of Kaspersky and you wont ever have any troubles at all...

except for the horse slaughtering noise it makes when it detects a virus

go to google and search for housecall.
scan ur pc online that way, and see what u get.
also if u have a restore point do that.
start/help and support/ system restore option.

also go to download.com and download spyware terminator.

might help
