for MMS, SMS forward and other missing necessities, apps can be downloaded for iPhone from the apple network ....so these things arent an issue anymore...

thats a relief...i always thought a 40K phone without mms is just plain STUPID :P

farhan can you unlock the OTB 1.1.2 iPhone (4.6 bootloader)
the unlock is already out....I tried the damn thing and mine is stuck at recovery mode....need yer help...

I get the error "iphone can not be resotred to 1.1.2 ...an unknown error occured [6]"

it has occured coz ur Applemobiledevice.exe isnt running or ituneshelper.exe isnt running! i got the same error! checked these two processes! they were not running! i executed em and i restroed the fone:/!

got it unlocked -- kudos to me
it turns out that the '1.1.2 restore ' file was corrupted...I downloaded the file again and re-did the complete process...
everything is working now.....woohooo
