ZOTAC's Zbox series is widely known in the industry, mainly due to the integration of cutting-edge components in compact designs. This time, the company has unveiled two variants in the Zbox Magnus series, offering NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070 mobile and desktop GPUs.

Starting with the higher-end Zbox Magnus One, the company has been offering the same model for a long time. ZOTAC has released two different models, the ERP74070CERP74070W, both having the exact specifications but a difference in colors. The new Magnus One PCs feature Intel's Core i7-13700 coupled with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070 desktop GPU. They bring significant performance onboard compared to the previous generations and are one of the first ones to harness the power of the Ada Lovelace architecture.

Moving on to the memory and storage options, the Magnus One variants are compatible with 64 GB of DDR5-5600 memory, through their two SO-DIMM slots. They feature two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 NVMe slots and a 2.5-inch drive slot with SATA connectivity; hence you are getting plenty of storage options onboard.

With powerful specifications, the new Magnus One units have a larger size measuring 265.5 mm×126 mm×249mm. However, they come with more power onboard, providing an upgrade path to consumers as well. You can view the onboard ports on the Magnus One units below:

Besides a desktop-sized PC, ZOTAC has also unveiled the Magnus One, which targets a smaller form factor, featuring a NUC-inspired design. However, with a smaller size comes downgraded specifications since the Magnus one employs Intel's Core i7-13700HX and NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU. They are still considerably powerful in their domain and bring portability onboard.

The Magnus One can support up to 64 GB of DDR5-4800 memory modules and 2x M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD slots. They also bring enhanced connectivity onboard, equipped with WiFi 6 and one 2.5 GbE Killer Ethernet port. It has five USB 3.1 ports and one Thunderbolt 4 port, which prevents consumers from thinking of any tradeoff due to its compact design. The Magnus One comes with 2 DisplayPorts and 1 HDMI port as well.

The compact design at 210 mm × 203 mm × 62.2 mm makes the Magnus One a great option if you are looking for a mini-PC that will handle everything you desire. However, consumers won't have an upgrade path here, but based on the onboard components, you are set for years.

ZOTAC hasn't disclosed pricing for the new Magnus models; however, they do have mentioned that units have been shipping worldwide, hence you may see it at your nearest retailers soon.
