This one isn't the smallest mini PC by any means, but it's surely small enough to be compared with consoles.

ZOTAC Silently Launches 8.48 Litres ZBOX Magnus With RTX 5070 Ti and Intel Core Ultra 7 265; Already Available on JD

In October, ZOTAC launched the smallest-ever mini PC with a discrete GPU called ZBOX Magnus. ZOTAC managed to fit a discrete GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB GPU inside a 2.65-liter chassis, while also accommodating other components with ease. This was possible due to using the mobile platform, as desktop counterparts tend to be bigger.

ZOTAC didn't stop there and released another variant called ZBOX Magnus EU27507TC, which uses a desktop platform instead and deployed a much faster GPU. This configuration brings the Core Ultra 7 265 processor paired with the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB graphics card. Due to such changes, ZOTAC has used a much bigger chassis that measures 8.48 litres in volume.

Theoretically, it appears to be much bigger than the RTX 5060 Ti variant, but in reality, it's comparable to consoles and is much smaller than the regular rigs, including most mini ITX builds. The appearance is also quite different from the RTX 5060 Ti-based ZBOX Magnus, and the I/O is also better. You can find several USB Type A ports as well as a Type C port that is Thunderbolt 4. There are two LAN ports that offer 5 GbE and 1 GbE bandwidth, and also come included with WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

ZOTAC didn't reveal what its interior looks like, but the chassis does look decently ventilated from multiple sides. For storage, it offers 1x PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot and one PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot as well. However, a SATA SSD bay is available as well, which is interesting. For RAM, there are two DDR5 CSODIMM slots, but ZOTAC is selling the barebones version on JD for a whopping 20,999 Yuan, which translates to US$2972.

The ZOTAC MAGNUS EN275060TC, which offered the RTX 5060 Ti and Core Ultra 7 255HX, was launched for a whopping ~$2,000 as well, and didn't include any RAM or storage for this price. Since RAM and storage have already reached ridiculously high prices, customers will need to spend several hundred more dollars to fully complete these PCs.
