Ys X: Proud Nordics Launches on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch This February

Ys X: Proud Nordics will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 on February 20, 2026 in North America and Europe.

The release date for the definitive edition of the tenth entry in the long-running action role-playing game series by Falcom, and the previously unannounced PlayStation 5 release, have been revealed today with a new trailer focusing on the additional features of this new version of the game, which include:

Alongside the announcement trailer, publisher NISA also shared some brand new Ys X: Proud Nordics to provide another look at the new features. You can find them below.

The new Ys X: Proud Nordics is set to make the tenth entry in the Falcom series an even better game. Although the game starts slow, making the first five or so hours a little off-putting, the game eventually blooms in one of the finest entries in the series, thanks to an engaging story and great combat mechanics which force players to balance offense and defense, and push the series forward beyond the party-based system introduced in YS Seven.
