An Edge To Edge Display Leaks For The Xiaomi Mi5 Today
With all the hype bees circling Samsung's upcoming Note and Galaxy S6 launches, and the rest being busy with Apple's iPhone launches, Chinese smartphone starlet Xiaomi seems to have been left out of the mix. The manufacturer which managed to impress quite a lot of folks with its Mi4 launches earlier is showing no signs of slowing down, and is expected to launch the Xiaomi Mi5 later this year.
The Mi5 is also expected to come with none other than the Snapdragon 820, Qualcomm's reply to all those doubting its prowess. Well, the Mi5 has been pictured today for everyone curious about Xiaomi's upcoming flagship, and you can take a look at it below.
The Xiaomi Mi5 Has Surfaced - Bezel Free Display On The Cards
Looks like Xiaomi's eager to give the rest of the smartphone pack some tough times when it comes to device design. We've started to see an increased focus towards design in the Android world recently, marking a shift from the performance based devices that came earlier. Manufacturers such as LG and Samsung have started to stress upon the need of well designed device; citing the need for differentiation in an ecosystem where the processor and RAM have been the king for a long time.
These leaked images of the Mi5 further boost this fact, and coming allegedly from a manufacturer whose often been labelled as the Chinese 'Apple', they do present a good look for the eyes. As can be seen above, the Xiaomi Mi5 pictured here comes with a edge to edge, bezelless display, which is something we've heard before as well.
Aside from the design language, its very hard to discern any other details from today's leak. The Mi5 is expected to come with the Snapdragon 820, 4 GB of RAM and improved camera specifications.
