The Xiaomi 14 series debuted in China earlier this October, and the phones were honestly some of the best I have seen. Xiaomi really has nailed the specs and design, and I was looking forward to the Xiaomi 14 Pro making its debut in the international market, but based on the latest report, that might not happen after all.
A new report suggests that Xiaomi is only going to release the Xiaomi 14 in the international markets and skip the Pro variant
Xiaomi 14 series will have seen a global launch sometime next year, but it appears that only the base model will be coming to the global market, whereas the Pro variant won't. This is mainly because the ongoing software development of HyperOS' global version is currently limited to the base variant, whereas the Pro variant is nowhere to be seen.
This, of course, could change, and we could see the Xiaomi 14 Pro also coming to the international markets, but if the company is not even working on the software, we are not sure when the phone will launch globally. It is also worth noting that there is an Ultra variant. That has not made its debut, so we are going to wait for that to come out as well, and we will hopefully get more information on what the company is working on.
The Xiaomi 14 series is something that I think should most definitely come to the global market. At the moment, Samsung and Apple are dominating the markets with their smartphones. Xiaomi, being a major player, needs to ensure that there is no stagnancy in terms of innovation. We will keep you posted on whatever becomes of the Xiaomi 14's global launch. Considering how this year is almost over, you can expect much more information coming forward in the coming weeks.
