[UPDATE] Microsoft confirmed the rumors and announced that the next Xbox Partner Preview will air on Thursday, October 17, at 10 AM Pacific. Fans can expect a dozen trailers spread across 25 minutes of broadcast, featuring the second Alan Wake 2 expansion, Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and multiple world premieres.

[ORIGINAL STORY] Two prominent insiders have claimed that the next Xbox Partner Preview event should be announced soon, probably at the beginning of the coming week. Nate the Hate and Shpeshal Nick have both said as much in the spawn of a few hours, lending credibility to the rumor. The last Xbox Partner Preview, which aired on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, was more than seven months ago. This time, the gap was longer, as the second-to-last XPP aired in late October 2023.

As to what might be included in the upcoming Xbox Partner Preview event, it's anyone's guess now. The insiders provided no concrete info. However, we could certainly see more of STALKER 2, which is certainly a title Microsoft has invested a lot in by securing a three-month console exclusive. GSC Game World's long-awaited first-person shooter/survival horror game is set to launch on PC and Xbox Series S|X on November 20.
