Xbox has announced the next batch of games joining its Xbox Game Pass subscription service for the first wave of April 2026 titles. There are nine games joining the service for the first time, including new releases like Kiln, Replaced, and Vampire Crawlers, and other games finally making their way to the service, like the 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot and Hades 2 with its arrival on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

More than that though is the number of games getting shuffled around, so they're available not just to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, but to those on the Game Pass Premium tier as well. That includes games like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and Football Manager 26.

Other notable movements include DayZ, which is now set to be available on PC Game Pass. Remedy Entertainment's multiplayer misfire FBC: Firebreak is also getting moved around and will also now be available on Game Pass Premium on top of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

The biggest news of this wave though, at least for some Game Pass subscribers, is the confirmation that the Game Pass Essential tier will be getting "two more games" added to the limited library on April 8, 2026.

Here's the full list of games entering the service in this first wave and the games getting moved around, with the date they're entering the service, what platforms they are available on, and what tiers.

As new games enter the service, there are always a few that are on their way out. This time, the exiting class include quite the heavy hitters, including indie title Ashen, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, and most significantly, Grand Theft Auto V. Here's the full list of games leaving as of April 15, 2026.
