When Apple launches new products, it goes through a veritable litany of protocols, including one that involves preparing its store front displays to better advertise the new product. Now, it seems the iPhone manufacturer is planning a synchronized store display change on November 11.

The legendary tipster, Mark Gurman, is out with another scoop today, disclosing that Apple employees are preparing for an "overnight" on November 11, when those employees will implement designated changes to their stores' displays after the closing.
Apple typically follows this protocol before new product launches. But, in what muddies the proverbial waters this time around, the Cupertino giant also generally refreshes its store displays before the start of the holiday season.
According to Gurman, Apple's planned changes to its store displays can mean either of two possibilities:
- This is simply a seasonal refresh ahead of the upcoming holidays.
- Or, it indicates an imminent launch of new products.
- This possibility is supported by the fact that the inventory levels for Apple TV boxes and the HomePod mini are quite depleted, which only typically occurs before a major refresh.
- Both products are currently slated for an update, replete with new chips and Apple's in-house wireless components.
Gurman believes that the Cupertino giant will only launch the M5 Pro and M5 Max versions of the MacBook Pro in early 2026, especially as Tim Cook clarified in last week's earnings call that Apple does not have many products slated for launch in what remains of 2025.
