Apple's Vision Pro headset will launch on February 2, with pre-orders slated to go live on January 19. The company has trained Apple Store employees for the headset launch and how they should guide users to make an informed decision. According to the latest, customers looking to get their hands on the Vision Pro headset have to sit through a 25-minute demo in the Apple Store detailing how to use the device.

Vision Pro customers would have to sit through a demo session to try the headset with customized fit and lens

As mentioned earlier, the Vision Pro headset will go on sale starting February 2, and Apple has prepared a dedicated demo for the customers. In his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman writes that after the lengthy appointment, customers of the Vision Pro headset might have to sit for a 25-minute demo in the Apple Store. The demo will probably show users how to use the device and what not to do.

The demo was taught to some employees in Cupertino earlier this month. There are a wide range of aspects that Apple needs to consider before selling the Vision Pro to users. For instance, since it is a brand-new device, Apple must ensure it is the right size before you try it on. The company also has to consider incorporating prescription lenses if you wear glasses. Henceforth, a 25-minute demo for the Vision Pro is vital for customers at launch.

Initially, the number of appointments will be higher, and Apple has prepared Apple Stores with demo units. Ahead of the Vision Pro demo, an Apple employee will take the customer's facial scan, similar to how the technology works in the Apple Store app. The facial scan will determine the size of the Light Seal, Headband, and cushions. If a customer wears glasses, the employee would also take a scan of the prescribed lens for specific eyesight conditions. Once all the information is gathered, the Apple Store team will assemble the demo unit that matches your needs.

Once everything is set in place, the next part will entail interacting with the Vision Pro's interface. This portion will stretch from holding the headset to eye detection and gestures. After the customer is familiar with the headset's controls. The Apple Store employee will begin the 25-minute-long demo session. Customers will play around with various aspects of visionOS in the demo session, which includes the Photos app, and viewing Spatial photos and videos. The employee will also show how the Vision Pro can be used as a replacement for your Mac and iPad.

You can also purchase the Vision Pro headset through the Apple Store app. However, Apple still urges you to try the Vision Pro headset at an Apple Store. The face scan feature is embedded in the Apple Store app, allowing Apple to determine the size of the Light Seal and Headband. We will keep you updated with more information, so be sure to stick around.
