Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy Z TriFold behind a glass panel at the "K-Tech Showcase" on October 28 in the South Korean city of Gyeongju. While the unveil clarified several design elements of the new smartphone, crystal-clear images with granular resolutions of the TriFold had been lacking until now. That void has now been filled, courtesy of OMG Electronics and SUBUSUNEWS on YouTube.

As we've explained previously, the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold features:

  1. A foldable form factor that folds inwards twice, courtesy of a U-shaped folding mechanism, protecting the more sensitive inner display from the elements.
  2. This contrasts with the Huawei Mate XT, which combines an inward-folding display with the one that folds outwards.
  3. Of the two hinges, one has a tighter radius, allowing the foldable displays to layer on top of each other.
  4. A 10-inch OLED inner display (vs. the 8-inch one on the Galaxy Fold 7) and a 6.5-inch outer one.
  5. The triple-folding smartphone appears to be between 1.2cm and 1.5cm (12mm - 15mm) thick when folded.
  6. It has thicker bezels than those found on the Galaxy Fold 7.
  7. When unfolded, the Galaxy Z TriFold appears thinner than the Galaxy Fold 7.
  8. A triple camera setup at the back, replete with a 200-megapixel primary camera with 100x zoom capabilities, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
  9. Three batteries, possibly silicon-carbon ones, with a combined capacity of over 5,000mAh.
  10. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
  11. A titanium shell
