Intel has launched Core Ultra 200S Desktop CPUs while its motherboard partners have already started putting their Z890 motherboards for pre-orders. That said, several retailers and OEMs are offering various freebies and discounts on the new components, and one of the latest is the discount on CPU-Motherboard bundles.
The Californian retailer, Central Computers is offering some discounts on the newest Intel CPUs and Z890 motherboards when bought in bundle. The deal is applicable to select ASUS Z890 motherboards, including ROG Maximus Z890 Extreme, ROG Maximus Z890 Apex, ROG Maximus Z890 Hero, ROG Strix Z890-A Gaming WiFi, TUF Gaming Z890-Plus WiFi, and ROG Strix Z890-E Gaming WiFi when bought with Intel Arrow Lake chips.
The discounts will be eligible on all five Intel Core Ultra 200S "Arrow Lake" SKUs Intel has revealed and users can receive as low as $20 and as high as $50 in discounts. The discount amount depends on the motherboard model rather than the Intel CPU. Here are the complete details for the deals:
- ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Extreme ($999.99): $50 discount
- ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Apex ($719.99): $50 discount
- ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Hero ($699.99): $30 discount
- ASUS ROG Strix Z890-A Gaming WiFi ($399.99): $30 discount
- ASUS TUF Gaming Z890-Plus WiFi ($319.99): $30 discount
- ASUS ROG Strix Z890-E Gaming WiFi ($499.99): $20 discount
The deal on the TUF Gaming Z890-Plus WiFi looks ideal since it's the cheapest of all and will get you the motherboard for just $289.99 when bought with any Intel Arrow Lake CPU. If you buy the Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF, then the total price for the combo will be $589.98.
The deal is limited to only one bundle per customer and the CPU should be both retail and OEM eligible. It should be noted that if a user wants to return a product, he has to return both CPU and motherboards. The pre-order has already started and will continue till the 23rd of October. However, the promo date ends on 30th November.
