Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is going to release in around two months on PlayStation 4, and Sony didn't miss the chance to showcase the upcoming Uncharted series spinoff at the E3 2017.
During the Sony E3 2017 press conference, the Japanese publisher showed a brand new 4K cinematic trailer which showcases the game's main characters Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross. You can check out the trailer below.
From the critically acclaimed developer, Naughty Dog, comes the first standalone adventure in the Uncharted series. Chloe Frazer must enlist the aid of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross in order to recover a fabled ancient Indian artifact and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless war profiteer. Together, they’ll venture deep into the mountains of India in search of the legendary artifact. Along the way, they’ll learn to work together to unearth the mystery of the artifact, fight their way through fierce opposition, and prevent the region from falling into chaos.
A couple of months ago, Naughty Dog confirmed that they have approached developing Uncharted: The Lost Legacy like a full Uncharted game, with new locations and a deep narrative.
In December we said that we’re approaching this project as a true Uncharted game — complete with its own deep narrative with complex character development, all-new destinations, refined gameplay, and blockbuster cinematic moments. We’re especially excited to have Chloe as our new protagonist and explore more of her story as she and Nadine venture across India in search of the fabled Tusk of Ganesh. To that end, we wanted to share a new scene from early on in the game as Chloe and Nadine try to unravel the clues leading to the Tusk’s location.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy launches on PlayStation 4 in all regions on August 22nd.
