Naughty Dog slightly disappointed everyone when they announced the delay for the next installment of Uncharted, which is now expected to release on March 18, 2016.

However, once Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection was revealed for PlayStation 4, many assumed that it would include the Uncharted 4 beta. This turned out to be true and today, they confirmed that the Uncharted 4 beta will run from December 4 to December 13; to access it, you'll need to own the aforementioned Nathan Drake Collection and also be an active PS Plus subscriber.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection ships on October 7 in Europe and October 9 in the UK/US, but you'll be able to try it on September 29 thanks to a demo that will go live on the PlayStation Store. This demo will feature the Warzone level of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is packed with graphics and gameplay improvements

The game is a collection of Uncharted 1, Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 (with no multiplayer, sadly; it probably would have been too much for this remaster) packed with graphics and gameplay improvements. 1080P resolution and 60FPS is just one aspect, but there's more: Bluepoint, the studio behind the port, is upgrading character models, environment textures, lighting, and special effects.

There will also be tweaks to the control scheme, gameplay mechanics and the likes in order to bring the older games more in line with the latest one (Uncharted 3).
