UAG Introduces Its Scout Series Cases for Apple’s Latest iPad Pro; Both Are MIL-STD Certified to Protect Your Tablet

UAG scout series cases Apple iPad Pro

After launching Apple Watch Series bands earlier this week, Urban Armor Gear or UAG has now announced a military-grade iPad Pro case which is compatible with the tablet’s two most important accessories, the Smart Keyboard Folio Case and the second-generation Apple Pencil. The new case has been launched under the Scout series. For the uninitiated, UAG creates lightweight, rugged cases for mobile devices, and this one, in particular, is expected to keep both your 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro intact.

The Scout series cases will provide protection for both the iPad Pro and the Smart Keyboard Folio case, without compromising the user experience in any way, which means the multiple viewing and typing positions of the folio will not be affected. The case also protects the accessory when it’s not in use. Unfortunately, for those who do not use the smart keyboard accessory, the new case will not work with a tablet that’s not connected to the Smart Keyboard Folio.

The cases also feature a rugged clip that can hold the Apple Pencil securely in places when it’s being charged or paired with the iPad Pro. The Scout series features cases that are light and impact resistant and at the same time, provide a hassle-free access to all the ports and buttons. The cases will be available in the color black for the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, for $49.95 and $59.95, respectively. UAG will announce the release date of these cases soon, so stay tuned.

According to UAG, there is a dearth of rugged iPad Pro cases in the market which are compatible with Apple’s accessories and the company’s MIL-SPEC case is the first one to provide support for the Smart Keyboard Folio case & Apple Pencil. Starting at $799 and going up to $1,899, the iPad Pro is anything but cheap and thus, the company’s latest cases can surely come in handy to provide added protection to the tablet.
