UGREEN has made the cheapest USB-C to Lightning cable there is on the market and it costs just $13 and happen to be MFi-certified too.
Thanks to Apple opening up its MFi Program even further, we don't have to rely on the Cupertino company in order to grab ourselves a USB-C to Lightning cable in order to fast charge an iPhone or even one of the older iPad Pros. You can knock on Anker's door or someone else's in order to get things done and there's no need to give Apple $19 for what is essentially the same cable.
But the game just changed today as UGREEN has announced its new USB-C to Lightning cable for just $13. This is perhaps the cheapest MFi-certified USB-C to Lightning cable we've seen around. And since it has Apple's seal of approval therefore it's as good as what Apple currently sells but at a far less price.
3A PD-Charge: In order to manufacture the USB-C to Lightning cable which supports PD Fast-Charge 9V/2A 18W(Max), a new "C94 Lightning connector" is necessary. UGREEN USB C to Lightning cable was produced by C94 (Apple PD Quick-Charge), it supports a rapid charge up to 3A (max). You'll be able to charge an iPhone X from 0% to 50% in 30 mins (with USB-C PD Charger), almost 2x faster than the regular 1A charger.
Once paired with a USB Power Delivery charger and this cable plugged in, you can expect to charge a dead iPhone up to 50% in just 30 minutes. But remember, you must have one of the recent iPhones in order to get fast charging capabilities. Anything above iPhone 8 should do the trick.
Since this is a UGREEN product therefore you can expect all sorts of good things from it, such as a high quality build, the ability to withstand bends and tumbles and whatnot. Essentially, this is a very, very capable cable if you need nothing but fast charging speeds in your life. Just remember, pair this cable with an 18W USB-C charger otherwise you will be stuck with slow speeds, something which should just be criminalized in year 2019.
