Chinese cooler manufacturer, Jonsbo, has revealed its brand new NF-1 cooler which is compatible with DDR5 memory & offers a unique colorful design.

Jonsbo's NF-1 Memory Cooler Supports The Latest DDR5 Standard, Comes With Dual RGB Fans

As DDR5 memory continues to push for higher frequencies, the resultant heat can be a slight bit of an issue, especially since the PMIC which handles the power delivery is located on the DRAM itself. As such, cooling manufacturers are offering some unique coolers that come with support for DDR5 memory standards.

Jonsbo is one such manufacturer that is well-known in the Asian market for their budget yet high-quality air coolers. The cooling manufacturer is offering its brand-new NF-1 cooler which not only looks unique but should offer plenty of cooling to the DDR5 DIMMs. The NF-1 cooler incorporates two 50mm fans which feature RGB lighting & deliver a unique aesthetic with the perforated shroud which looks really nice.

The whole thing measures 120x62x28.1mm and is mainly designed to be compatible with liquid coolers but certain air coolers with larger memory clearance can also support it. The fans come with Hydraulic Bearings and can operate between 600-3600 RPM (+/- 10%), offering up to 9.11 CFM of airflow. The cooling solution is simple to install with just two screws that go into the same spot as the motherboard standoffs. The best part is that the memory cooler comes in both white and black colored designs, offering some room for customization to users besides the added RGB LEDs.

Now you might be wondering if this is actually a good product but we cannot say for sure yet since we don't have an official price on the product. It will also be limited to Asian markets. But we know that there are several heatsink-less DDR5 memory modules out there. These modules cost way too cheaper than heatsink modules and if the cooler costs anywhere around $10-$15 US, then it might just be a great solution where you can get decent cooling and even do some minor overclocking on your DDR5 DIMMs.
