CD Projekt RED is celebrating The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's 10th anniversary this year, with several features coming to the game this year intended to be a part of that celebration. One of those features, however, will no longer be making it out in 2025, and has been pushed into next year, as CD Projekt RED confirms that cross-platform mod support will arrive sometime in 2026.

Announced in a post from The Witcher official X (formerly Twitter) account, CDPR apologized for the delay, and confirmed that it will provide more information to players closer to the rollout next year.

"We apologize for the delay and will share more details as we get closer to the release. Thank you for your patience!"
