The Outer Worlds is a game that people are quite obviously looking forward to, despite the fact that the PC version is only coming to the Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store. Developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by 2K's Private Division label, The Outer Worlds will be coming to the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as soon as October the 25th.

Not only do we now know that the game, which looks fantastic, will be coming out in just over four months, but we also have the joy of a new trailer. This shows off some more of the games outer-worldly environments as well as a fair bit of action.

What with Obsidian being owned by Microsoft now, it's a slight surprise that the game will still be coming to the PS4. Only a slight one though as I imagine that a fair amount of money had been sunk into the PS4 version, as well as deals having already been signed with Sony prior to Obsidian's purchase. With it being a Microsoft game, it's also visible on the Microsoft Store that the game will be a part of the PC Xbox Game Pass. I've already signed up.
