The Outer Worlds 2 Gameplay Showcased at The Game Awards, Releases in 2025

The Outer Worlds 2 gameplay has been shown at The Game Awards, where a brand-new trailer was revealed and showcased some of the exploration and combat that you'll be able to take part in when the game releases. Although the game hasn't got a full release date just yet, it has been confirmed that the game is slated to release in 2025. This title is being developed and published by Obsidian Entertainment, which is shaping up to have a pretty stacked year already, with two major releases, this being one of them. Obsidian Entertainment will also see the release of Avowed, a game that takes place in the same universe as Pillars of Eternity. Avowed is set to release on 18 February 2025.

The Outer Worlds was a huge success and was first released in 2020. Since then, the game has seen the release of multiple DLCs, as well as an upgrade to the game, which provides cosmetics and extra content for those who want more of the action.

If you're interested in The Outer Worlds 2, the game is currently available on the wishlist, with the game set to release on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5, and PC. For those who want to learn more about the franchise, it will also be featured in the upcoming Secret Level anthology series, which is streaming on Prime Video. The episode related to The Outer Worlds will air on December 17, showcasing both The Outer Worlds and the upcoming title.

At the moment, there isn't much news about this title other than the official trailer above, which has great wit, showcases the aesthetic well, and builds on some great tropes to make fun of and make the trailer lighthearted.
