Naughty Dog is currently working on multiple projects, including a multiplayer game based on The Last Of Us, and we do not know exactly what will be the next one to release. Judging from the words of one of the studio veterans, it will be quite a game.

Replying to The Game Awards official Twitter profile about the favorite game made by Naughty Dog of all time, The Last Of Us Part II co-director Kurt Margenau revealed that his favorite title from the studio is the next one, without adding anything more.

Kurt Margenau's statement got the speculation train running, but lips are continuing to be sealed, so we do not know which game he was talking about. As he is also working on The Last Of Us multiplayer title, he could have been talking about the project that has been a long time coming, but as it has already been revealed, there wouldn't be much need for secrecy. No matter what actually is the next game coming from the creators of the Uncharted and The Last Of Us series, fans are definitely in for something great, as Kurt Margenau has been at Naughty Dog for over 14 years and has worked on plenty of excellent titles, so to be his favorite, the next game really has to be something else.

The latest game released by Naughty Dog is The Last Of Us Part I, a remake of the first entry in the series, which spawned a successful TV show as well. While the game is a solid remake, the PC port of the game is far from perfect, as it launched in a rather bad state. The studio, however, is working hard to fix it, releasing multiple patches that fix the biggest issues of the port.
