Honor Magic6 Series Has The Brightest Display at 5,000 Nits Peak Brightness But Is it Really Important?

Now that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is finally official, it is time to start seeing some really cool smartphones featuring the latest chipset. The Honor Magic 6 is one of the first smartphones that will debut with the new chipset, and based on the information we have received so far, it appears that the phone will bring many smart features. This will help put Honor Magic 6 apart when you compare it with everything else in the market, and this certainly is a good thing as it creates a much-needed divide.

The Magic Capsule on the Honor Magic 6 is able to do some pretty neat magic with opening apps

Aside from the fact that the Honor Magic 6 is going to run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it will also have some new features, such as giving the users the ability to open apps using their eyes. Honor is calling it Magic Capsule and has talked about how this feature is basically an “eye-tracking based multimodal interaction.”

Honor shared a small video of the Honor Magic 6 with its Magic Capsule and how it works. This feature allows you to look at the preview that you can find in the Magic Capsule, and looking at it long enough actually opens the app for you. You can look at the demo below:

Aside from this pretty cool party trick, the Honor Magic 6 is also going to bring a new on-device AI assistant called YOYO. An on-device LLM will power this digital helper, and users will be able to give various commands to this helper, asking it to generate videos featuring the photos and footage that are stored on the device. Users will be able to customize the assistant in several ways and have a truly unique experience thanks to the power of AI.

Sadly, at the moment, there is not much detail about the Honor Magic 6, but I am really looking forward to seeing how the device turns out once it finally hits the market. This is just going to be one of several amazing smartphones that will be hitting the market, so we will be sure to provide you with all the information we get.
