Nintendo has made the Nintendo Switch Day-one Super Smash Bros Ultimate Patch available for download.

The game is due later this week but Nintendo has already rolled out the day-one patch, which weighs in at roughly 400MB. Those who bought the digital version of the game will have to manually update the game through the menu.

As the game hasn’t been officially released yet, patch notes are absent at this point, but ResetEra user ‘Atheerios’ already shared some unofficial release notes, which we’ve included below:

Super Smash Bros Ultimate for the Switch was announced back in March of this year. Nintendo revealed additional details about the game during a Nintendo Direct last month.

“There are still elements of today’s presentation that hold a lot of secrets for players to discover, but with the launch of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate only a little more than a month away, this Nintendo Direct presentation is a final look at one of the most massive games Nintendo has ever produced,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “With so much to experience and discover in this game – and with a huge library of other games to choose from – we believe fans are going to be playing a lot of Nintendo Switch this holiday season.”

Super Smash Bros Ultimate will release globally on December 7.
