Steam Hits Highest All Time Concurrent Users Peak With Over 17 Million Users

2017 has been a great year for PC gaming thanks to some excellent exclusive games and ports of console titles, but it seems like the best had yet to come regarding Steam, as a new all-time highest users peak has been reached recently.

According to Steam DB, an all-time peak of 17,683,804 users has been reached 2 days ago. Yesterday, the number dropped slightly, but it was still above 17 million users, 17,557,288 users. Among the games that have contributed the most to these numbers if PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which contributed around 3 million users.

The Steam Autumn Sale 2017 is also helping in getting these very high numbers. The sale, which will run until tomorrow, November 28th, includes some very impressive deals for games like Assassin's Creed Origins, Dark Souls III, Fallout 4, Grand Theft Auto V, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and many others.
