Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws, the upcoming open-world action-adventure from Massive Entertainment set in a Galaxy Far, Far Away, is slated to be the biggest game of the summer, and today during the Ubisoft Forward showcase, we got a fresh look at the game in action. The new gameplay footage mostly focuses on the game’s expansive world and the activities you’ll encounter there, including a visit to Tatooine and Mos Eisley, including the infamous cantina.

Interestingly, unlike your typical open-world game, it seems you don’t improve your skills in Star Wars Outlaws by gaining XP, but rather, by tracking down “experts” who can teach you new skills. In the footage we Kay Vess a gunslinger who will improve her shooting skills. On the way, we see Kay seamlessly take to space, engage in a quick dogfight, explore Mos Eisley and Tatooine, and engage in a stealth mission at a Hutt cartel base.
