Earlier this week, Star Wars Battlefront has received its February update which introduced new content to the game and plenty of fixes which should improve the experience considerably. Among the new content included in the update is a new map called Twilight on Hoth, and a new Easter Egg has been found in this new map.

The Twilight on Hoth map new Easter Egg is a Frozen Tauntaun that can be found in the Rebel side of the map. Unlike other Tauntauns found as Easter Eggs in the game, this frozen one is a full size render: could this mean that rideable Tauntauns might be introduced to Star Wars Battlefront in the future?

As mentioned above, the new Star Wars Battlefront comes with plenty of additional content, tweaks and fixed. Alongside the already mentioned new Twilight on Hoth map, the Star Wars Battlefront February update includes a new mission called Survival in the Ice Caves, new options such as the ability to turn off music and activate a Film Grain filter, tweaks for weapons, missions and vehicles. The update also patched the Jakku DLC content into the game, so it's no longer a separate download.

Star Wars Battlefront is going to receive additional content in the future through paid DLC packs. Three of the four expansions, called Outer Rim, Bespin, and Death Star, will be released throughout the year. A fourth expansion pack will be released in Early 2017, and nothing is currently known about it.

Star Wars Battlefront is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Februrary update is also live right now for all platforms in all regions. We'll let you know more about the game's future content and updates as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
