The Sony WF-1000XM5 is around the corner, at least, that is what the leaks are having us believe, and I am really glad that we are getting some high-end, true-wireless earbuds. Don't get me wrong, I am sure that the AirPods Pro 2nd generation is excellent, and the same can be said for what Samsung is offering. Yet, we all know that Sony is playing in a different league altogether, and if you have used the WH-1000XM5, you will know what I am talking about because those are undoubtedly the best headphones that I can think of.

Based on information received from Slashleaks, the price of the Sony WF-1000XM5 has leaked, and if you were looking for an affordable pair of earphones, then that is not going to be the case, and honestly, I am not even surprised about this because this is the price you pay for high-end earphones.
If you are looking to get your hands on the Sony WF-1000XM5, they are going to cost you a hefty €319.99 (~$350.16). Yes, that is expensive for a true-wireless pair of earbuds, but for anyone looking for an excellent pair and wanting the best experience, this is something you cannot go wrong with. You will be more than happy with these in terms of the sound that they are going to deliver. The price is for the EU region, but you shouldn't expect it to be different in other regions.
Honestly, the price might be unsettling for some because you can get some really good over-ear headphones in this range, but Sony has a justification because, let's admit it, the Sony WF-100XM5 are going to be the best true-wireless earphones in the market, easily beating out the competition by delivering better sound quality, battery life, and other features across the board.
As for the release date, we still don't know when we will get the chance to see the Sony WF-1000XM5 in the market, but considering how the earphones have leaked several times, it is safe to say that you are getting the earphones pretty soon and we will keep you posted once they eventually are available to purchase. I am not sure about you, but for me, these are a day-one purchase.
