Remastered Sonic X Shadow Generations

Sonic X Shadow Generations, the upcoming remaster from SEGA, has been rated in South Korea.

The remaster featuring a new standalone campaign for Shadow was announced back in February of this year during Sony's State of Play broadcast. Aside from the new Shadow campaign, this remaster will feature new abilities and powers for Shadow alongside a remaster of 2011's Sonic Generations. As revealed by Sega, in the new standalone Shadow campaign, players will unlock Shadow's inner powers and confront his nemesis, Black Doom. Fast forward two months, and this remaster has now received a rating. Interestingly, Sega has already announced that the game is arriving this Autumn. As such, we're still more than, at least, five months away from an actual launch.

“With Sonic x Shadow Generations, we wanted to bring Sonic Generations to PS5 and PS4 while pairing a brand-new Shadow storyline to crossover with the original story", Sonic Team's Creative Officer, Takashi Iizuka, said upon the game's announcement. "With Shadow’s portion of the title, players will get to know him more as a character and understand his motivations. It will create the ultimate celebration of Classic Sonic, Modern Sonic, and Shadow gameplay that all fans will surely enjoy.”

We've included the announcement trailer for this upcoming remaster below.

Sonic X Shadow Generation is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC this Autumn. An actual release date will be shared closer to the game's launch. We'll update you as soon as we learn more about this remaster.
