A shady GeForce RTX GT610 GPU has been listed over at AliExpress and we advise users to stay away from it despite its comical naming scheme.
Chinese Retail Platforms Yet Again See Debuts of "Shady GPUs", This Time It's An GeForce "RTX" GT610 1 GB Graphics Card From SJS
It's not every day that you see weird GPUs popping up in the markets, especially at shady retail platforms, but we have an interesting encounter for you. AliExpress has listed the GeForce RTX GT610 graphics card, and we are amazed by this listing since it doesn't make sense at all.
On starters, well, the naming scheme is completely messed up, and it looks like the supposed manufacturer was confused about whether to label the GPU as one with RT cores or an old "GT series" SKU, so they decided to go with both, thinking that consumers will fall the trap.

The manufacturer is supposedly called "SJS," and the GPU they are offering comes with 1 GB DDR3 VRAM onboard, support for PCIe Express 2.0, and a single-slot form factor. The specifications are identical to NVIDIA's GeForce GT610, so we can't blame the manufacturer there, but the "RTX" prefix with the name certainly puts up a laugh when the listing is viewed for the very first time. Not only this, but the packaging in itself is too unprofessional and appears to be from a shady manufacturer in general.

The GT610 itself is based on an older Fermi architecture which is four generations before NVIDIA introduced RTX features on its first generation RTX 20 series "Turing" graphics cards. So yeah, do not expect any such features on this falsely advertised "RTX" product.
