We haven't got a lot many days left until Samsung refreshes its Galaxy Note lineup. Right now, the leaks all agree that this year's Note 9 will mark an iterative upgrade over the Note 8, just as the latter did over its predecessor. Samsung will not introduce many feature upgrades. Today, we've got another leak that confirms earlier details for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Take a look below to find out more.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Front Panel Shows Exact Same Sensor Arrangments As For The Galaxy Note 8; No Difference In Bezel Thickness Is Discernible
If there's one thing that Samsung and Android fans, in general, will rejoice after seeing today's leak is that Samsung will not bow down to the notch-trend. Ever since Apple. chose to launch the iPhone X with a display cutout, most of the smartphone world has adopted the feature to house front sensors in a world where edge-to-edge displays are becoming common.
Samsung has held out so far and will continue to do so. The company has its distinctive design of minimum size bezels and will stick to it as it was the first to debut this particular look. However, sticking to old features is a move Samsung's very familiar with and looks like the company will also follow it this year on the Galaxy Note 9.
The first image above is today's leak that allegedly depicts the front panel for Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The second is a screen protector for the Galaxy Note 8. As it's clearly visible, Samsung will take it easy with the device's front this year and make several changes on its back. In fact, the image is so similar to what is currently available on the market that we're also inclined to doubt this leak's authenticity; despite its source's good track record.
Other details for the Galaxy Note 9 suggest that Samsung will introduce a new color option along with several software overhauls which include a new version of Bixby and upgraded UI. Alongside this, Samsung will also improve the lineup's rear camera and bring it at par with what is available on the Galaxy S9/S9+.
At the hardware end, you should expect Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 with at least 6GB RAM as we're not confident on whether Samsung will also jump on the 8GB bandwagon.
