Despite Being the King of Foldable Phones, Samsung Could Lose its Crown to Huawei

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will not go official for some time now, but that does not mean that the company is not actively working on the devices. We have now learned that the clamshell foldable is due to receive an upgrade in terms of the cover screen.

Samsung to take the Galaxy Z Flip 6's cover screen to the next level with a 3.9-inch screen on the outside

It appears that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have a larger cover screen than its predecessor. The source claims that we are getting a 3.9-inch cover screen on the new foldable, which will make it larger on any flip phone that is available in the market. The source also claims that the exact display sizes for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 are already mentioned in the latest foldable report from the Display Supply Chain Consultants, but at the moment, we don't know what they are going to be.

Sadly, at the moment, there aren't many details on the Galaxy Z Flip 6, but earlier this year, we did hear that the phone is finally getting a main camera sensor upgrade, which definitely is something that the phone could use considering how for the longest time Samsung has stuck with a 12-megapixel camera, and it is about time that the company updates it. There have also been reports that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 could finally have a place for the S Pen on the device without having to need a case, but we cannot confirm that at the time of writing.

Samsung is currently occupied with the Galaxy S24 series as its main focus, which means it will take some time before we start getting more details about the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Rest assured, we will be sure to keep you posted as we move forward and learn more details about the upcoming devices. So, until then, stay tuned for more information.
