$125.99 USThe DDR5 memory segment has been seeing a lot of action as it gets standardized across all PC platforms. With memory prices dropping and the latest platforms becoming affordable, memory makers are offering new solutions all the time with some focusing on high-end specifications. In contrast, others focus on strengthening their gaming product portfolios.
With the arrival of DDR5 memory, KLEVV started to expand its memory lineup into mainstream and gaming categories. Serving the mainstream audiences are the standard SO-DIMM and U-DIMM RAM kits while the gaming side gets the more premium FIT V, BOLT V, CRAS V RGB, and CRAS XR5 RGB series memory. For today's review, we were provided KLEVV's latest addition to its DDR5 ram portfolio, the Urbane V RGB, a high-end kit that is designed to take full advantage of top boards on sale today.

So for today's review, we will test out the KLEVV Urbane V RGB memory kit which comes in 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) modules.

KLEVV Urbane V RGB DDR5-7600 32 GB Memory Kit Unboxing and Close-Up
The KLEVV Urbane V RGB memory kit is packaged in a standard cardboard box with a picture of the memory on the front along with the respective capacity and speeds.

The back of the package lists the various features of the KLEVV Urbane V RGB memory series and the respective timings can also be seen along with the serial codes.

Out of the box, you are greeted with a very premium design which I have been mentioning throughout this post.

Both modules feature a matte white color scheme that looks superb. The color scheme works great with modern-day PCs which are going all-in on the white aesthetics. Even in the standard black PCs, these modules will look great, offering a dual-tone touch.

The heatsink has the "Urbane V RGB" branding etched in metallic silver colors and KLEVV logos in dark silver on each side of the DIMM.
The modules are a bit tall, measuring 42.5 mm in height which should be something to keep in mind when using air coolers. The rest of the modules measure 138.9mm x 8.2mm. The benefit of this larger heatsink is that the can sustain heavy loads as these modules are rated at 1.4V out of the box.

The whole diffuser runs the entire top length of the heatsink.

The back of each module lists the specifications including the memory capacity, memory timings, and memory clocks.

Just like its flagship CRAS V series, the KLEVV Urbane V RGB memory kit looks and feels very premium.
Wccftech Memory Test Setup
For testing, I used the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU on the MSI MEG Z890 Unify-X motherboard to evaluate the CUDIMM kits. For the remaining memory kits, we used the Intel Core i9 14900K CPU along with the MSI MEG Z790 ACE MAX motherboard which can also support higher frequencies memory but even high-end motherboards like these require a bit of tuning to get the modules to work at their rated XMP speeds. The good thing about the Z890 motherboards is that they are rock solid when it comes to fast and CUDIMM memory support.
DDR5 Memory Kit Performance Tests
I have separated the performance tests into two sections. The first section consists of synthetic and general workload tests while the second section focuses on gaming performance and how different games are affected by higher-clocked memory sticks.

SuperPI
Super PI is used by many overclockers to test the performance and stability of their computers. In the overclocking community, the standard program provides a benchmark for enthusiasts to compare “world record” pi calculation times and demonstrate their overclocking abilities. The program can also be used to test the stability of a certain overclock speed.

WinRAR is a powerful archive manager. It can back up your data and reduce the size of email attachments, decompress RAR, ZIP, and other files downloaded from the Internet, and create new archives in RAR and ZIP file format.

Gaming Performance Tests
Gaming applications generally don't see huge gains with different memory kits but DDR5 has enabled a huge gain in memory frequency which can impact gaming performance. Moving from the stock 2133 Mbps (DDR4) to 6000+ Mbps can have a huge effect on performance and the improved CAS timings on some of the high-end SKUs can result in better overall FPS and system responsiveness.

Conclusion - High-End Specs, Great Design, Mainstream Pricing
KLEVV has rolled out another great DDR5 memory lineup in the form of the Urbane V series which scales from 6000 MT/s speeds up to 8400 MT/s and offers up to 64 GB capacity kits. The Urbane V lineup is a solid set of memory that is designed for next-gen platforms. It comes with both Intel & AMD CPU support.
In terms of performance, the KLEVV Urbane V RGB DDR5 series is rock solid, and the 7600 MT/s kit that we received ran flawlessly on our test bench. While the performance is top-notch which one should expect from this high-end memory kit, a minor drawback is that these speeds may not be compatible with a few platforms and CPUs.
This limitation isn't on KLEVV but rather on the respective motherboard and CPU. Intel's 13th/14th Gen CPUs and the majority of Z790 motherboards can run the kit, they also run great on Z890 platforms but for AMD, you might have to switch to 1:2 mode which leads to higher latencies in favor of more speeds.

As for the looks, once again, the KLEVV Urbane V RGB series comes with a futuristic vibe which looks very nice and different from the aggressive looks we have seen on other memory modules. The RGB diffuser is also very nice and it looks very neat within a finished PC build. Pricing of the KLEVV Urbane V RGB DDR5 memory kit which we tested is around $120-$130 US which is very decent and that's why we can fully recommend this kit to those looking for a high-end kit for their latest builds.
