TBDConclusion - King of OC, Silent Operation, & Looks
The HOF series has always been a showcase of engineering skills and enthusiasm in the overclocking field by the GALAX team. The company has so many years of experience being integrated within the HOF GPU series that there's no room left for any error. With the RTX 50 HOF series, GALAX once again proves that they are the legends when it comes to OC designs.
The GALAX RTX 5080 HOF Gaming, although not the highest-end of the HOF series, is a premium graphics card. It looks absolutely amazing with its diamond pattern, the crown designs, and the legendary white cooler and PCB combo. GALAX was the first to do white PCBs, and while the industry has followed them, GALAX just doesn't stop at producing white PCBs, but also features the best components, designed for pure OC. This is also one of the fastest RTX 5080 cards we have tested, with a 158 MHz overclock out of the box, a speed-up of 6% and further with its solid overclocking potential, we were able to reach up to 7% increase in real-world gaming performance.

The cooling solution also did a great job keeping the 5080 GPU cool under 60 °C and at a super-silent 31 dBA. The card is a bit chunky, but with a vapor chamber, massive heatpipes, and large aluminum fins, the extra space is being fully utilized. Plus, GALAX does it all in style, with the aforementioned great looks of the card being further complemented by a solid array of RGB LEDs.
Some of the coolest features of the GALAX RTX 5080 HOF Gaming graphics card are its safety and OC features. There are dual BIOS switches on the PCB and a fan-profile button on the IO. The LEDs will tell you if you've connected the 16-pin connector correctly, and the 16-pin adapter cable bundled with the card is colored white.
