Conclusion - Mainstream Pricing For Streamers

ASRock's Z890 LiveMixer goes for a more simplistic and modern look this time around, featuring all the goodies that a streamer or content creator would need at a fantastic price point.

The motherboard aims to be a good mainstream position product which it does in terms great IO package, a strong VRM, and great memory support. Performance was on par with the other boards that we tested at both stock and overclocked configurations. The VRMs can get a little warm but it's not a huge deal to worry about as they are within spec. The board also offers four M.2 slots which are decent.

The things we loved about the ASRock Z890 LiveMixer WIFI:

  • Fantastic Price
  • Strong VRM Solution
  • Faster Memory Support (9466 MT/s+)
  • Good Simplistic Design
  • Lots of USB ports (Including Dual Thunderbolt 4 - Total 23)
  • Four M.2 slots (3 with heatsinks)
  • Latest WIFI7 & BT5.4 Support
  • Solid BIOS Firmware
  • ATX Form Factor

Things that we would have liked to see:

  • More EZ Mechanisms
  • More Audio Jacks

With 23 USB ports available and the motherboard verified to run across a range of streaming devices, the ASRock Z890 LiveMixer WIFI is a strongly positioned product at just $239 US.
