Resident Evil Village for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and M1/M2 iPad models now available

Capcom’s 2021 survival horror title Resident Evil Village is now officially available on Apple’s App Store for compatible devices that include the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and any iPad model featuring the company’s M1 and M2 chipset. Initially, it was revealed that the game would be available for $39.99 in the U.S., but thanks to the latest promotion, you can get a massive 60 percent discount that will last for a couple of weeks.

With the latest promotion, Resident Evil Village is now available for $15.99 for various devices, but the offer will last until November 20

For players who do not wish to pay full price to play Resident Evil Village, the Apple App Store is running a special promotion until November 20. Those who own compatible devices can try out the game for free and unlock the entire title for just $15.99. Given that the AAA survival horror installment launched a couple of years ago, the pricing seems justified, but keep in mind that it does not include the Winters’ Expansion DLC, which will have to be purchased separately for $19.99.

For those wondering, there are no changes to the game available for the iPhone and iPad compared to PC and consoles. In fact, we reported that just like the PC version that offers a full suite of graphics options, you can tweak the same settings on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any M1 or M2 iPad model to adjust between visual quality and performance. Apple’s own MetalFX upscaling technology is baked into the game, so you can get even higher performance based on your preference.

Another Capcom title, Resident Evil 4, which launched earlier this year for various platforms, is slated to arrive before the end of 2023 for compatible iPhones and iPads. According to previous findings, the remake of the 2005 critically acclaimed title is also listed on the Apple App Store, so we will see how that performs when it is released. For now, try out Resident Evil Village and let us know how the experience was.
