Remnant 2 DLSS has been fixed for the PC Game Pass version of the game, developer Gunfire Games has confirmed.
Remnant 2 and the first Remnant, Remnant: From the Ashes, shadow dropped on Game Pass last week, but for some reason, DLSS wasn't working on PC. This also applied to AMD FSR and Intel XeSS upscaling. Luckily, DLSS support has now been patched in for PC Game Pass. Gunfire Games announced the news through X (formerly Twitter).

"We're aware that DLSS is not currently available on PC Game Pass version of the game", the developer wrote on X last week. "Also FSR and XeSS are not working correctly either. We hope to have a fix soon!"
On X, the developer also clarified some facts about Remant 2 on Game Pass related to cloud saves, crossplay, and cross purchases. As explained by the developer, crossplay between PC and Xbox works, and this also applies to cloud saves between Windows Store (PC) and Xbox. Purchases between Xbox and the Windows Store version are shared, and those who purchase DLC can use it on both platforms.
Seeing some confusion about the Gamepass version of Remnant II. Quick facts:

- Purchases between Xbox and Windows Store Version are shared, purchase DLC on one, works on both

Remnant 2 is available worldwide now for PC and consoles. Here's what we wrote about the sequel in our launch review back in July of this year:
"While Remnant II isn’t much of an improvement over its predecessor in terms of storytelling, its presentation is a step up. Again, this is an Unreal Engine 5 game, and at times it looks quite nice. The level of detail in some areas is impressive and the game uses Epic’s Nanite tech to largely eliminate pop-in. Unfortunately, the game’s visuals aren’t terribly consistent. Character models are dated and while some of the game’s worlds are pretty, other, like the swampy Yaesha region, just look overdone and cluttered. The game also has some technical drawbacks on the PS5, with both Balanced and Performance modes offering inconsistent FPS (you’re actually better off sticking with the more stable 30fps Quality mode). Native resolutions are also rather low regardless of mode -- the game just doesn’t have that crisp edge you expect from a top-tier current-gen title. Unfortunately, even the PC version doesn't escape performance issues."
