Razer Project Linda Is a Notebook Where You Can Dock the Razer Phone and Use it as a Computer
Last year, Razer Project Valerie was one of the most exciting things we saw, and this year at CES 2018, the Razer Project Linda is something that one-ups both Samsung’s DeX Station and Windows Continuum. It is a notebook that is able to accommodate the Razer Phone and allows you to improve your productivity and workflow with the phone docked into an empty station that is present in the notebook itself.
The Razer Phone Seamlessly Gets Docked in the Razer Project Linda So You Can Use the Notebook for Media Consumption and Other Activities
The area where the trackpad is usually placed is where the Razer Phone gets docked on the Razer Project Linda. When the phone has been docked, you can start using the display as a touchpad, which is a great feature and because the display size is already big, the trackpad area can be equivalent to a 2016 or 2017 MacBook Pro notebook’s overly sized trackpad. You also get pristine sound quality because the speakers on the Razer Phone are firing upwards.
You will be able to experience ample battery life thanks to the 53Wh battery incorporated in the notebook. To attach the smartphone, there is a Type-C USB port that retracts where the trackpad area is placed. The notebook’s display area is where you will be able to see all the apps and the UI is part of the customized version of the Sentio desktop.
You will be able to use a multitude of applications for better productivity and this will range from web browsing, media consumption and using word-based applications. Unfortunately, the Razer Project Linda does not have a price tag and since this is just a prototype, it does not appear to get into the mass production phase.
Perhaps in the future, something like this will be available for a specific percentage of customers.
